Earthworks at stage 3 of the Dyurtyuli–Achit road are to be completed by early spring

In the near future, workers will be fully mobilized at construction stage 3 of the Kazan-Yekaterinburg high-speed road, which runs through the Sverdlovsk Region. Currently, works for earthwork and pipe culvert construction, karst cavity filling, and installation of karst-suffosion monitoring systems are carried out at the stage. More than 500 people and about 110 equipment units are already engaged at the stage.

This year, according to the construction schedule, it is planned to install supports and superstructures on the majority of artificial structures. But first builders have to prepare pile foundations. In 2024, it is planned to begin the arrangement of exits from transport interchanges.

At stage 3, 12 artificial structures are to be constructed, including 5 bridges, 2 wildlife crossings combined with bridges, and an agricultural crossing and overpasses.

2 multifunctional zones are to be arranged on 42 km of the four-lane technical category 4 road in the Sverdlovsk Region, with playgrounds and places to refuel your car, have a snack and relax.

This Dyurtyuli–Achit stage, like the first two stages, is to become part of M-12 from Moscow to Yekaterinburg and the 'Rossiya' transport route. The state-of-the-art highway will allow driving from Moscow to Yekaterinburg in less than a day. According to the road builders, it will cut the travel time from 35 to 17 hours.
