Overhaul of the Volnovakha-Zachatovka highway started in the DPR
In the Donetsk People's Republic, the Russian Highways State Company started major structural repairs of the Volnovakha - Zachatovka highway at the 19 km section.
To date, the right-of-way has been cleared in full, and work is being carried out to bring the shoulders to a normative condition. This is a crucial stage that ensures road safety and forms the basis for further works at the site.
The road runs across a number of settlements where educational and medical institutions are situated.
Overhaul of the road Volnovakha - Zachatovka will improve transportation accessibility of settlements, ensure traffic safety and shape up conditions for restoration of social and economic activity of the surrounding areas.
Two layers of asphalt concrete are to be laid along the segment, markings to be applied, and infrastructure elements to be installed.
